Dalby water wheel

I have a better film shot of this. I had been thinking that maybe I didn't have the haze in that shot because I took it from a slighly different angle. But I just went and checked that picture and found that it was taken from exactly the same place. So I'm stymied as to why this one came out so bad. It must be poltergeists.

I wasn't using a filter on this one, so I figured it must be haze, or vapor.

I'm familiar with the concepts of dodging and burning, but I'm not good at all with it. I figure that's probably because I couldn't draw to save my life. It's a good thing that photography exists, because I certainly couldn't paint a picture.

Heck, only takes a second for the light to change! It's hard to tell if this is off the filter or vapor, a little burning in might fix it right up.
