The good ones are auto. The fuzzy ones (e.g. the ibis with the crawfish in it's mouth) were with manual and with the 1.4x converter (which does not AF well with the Rebel even with the pins taped.) I need a lot more practice before I can track a moving target, focus accurately, and shoot all at the same time.

Your flight shots are well done. Did you use auto or manual focus?
