Wanconda near Wonconda Pass ,Washington is a ghost town that still has a spark of life to it as the Store/Cafe is the last remaining business to another " Former" great community.

Wauconda is how you spell it. Just in case you were fastidious. I live about 10 miles from there- it is a small somewhat spooky town in the back woods. Gorgeous landscape though.

Hello, We rode through Waconda on Sat, mornning,5/9/2009 For Wing Washington, The Photograpic Tour of Washington where we are useing the Waconda Cafe for a GPS waypoint as a seinic waypoint in our ride! Just wanted to say thank you your place is very nice and we will be back and send people your way throughout the season.
