Old School film SLR with a straight 50mm lens. As the world spins ever more into the digital age and cameras auto focus and basicly " Do It All ", shooting an old Ricoh ( which is generally a stepchild to Nikon, Canon, Minolta and even Pentax) it is flat refreshing to load " And Wind" the film into your camera, set the shutter speed, Apeture, and work to compose a shoot with only the 50mm lens and no zoom. It's like riding an old one speed Schwinn Bike compared to an 18 speed Klein. Any one can get a decent shot with a Canon 5D and " L " glass ( I am proof of that) , but to work to get a good photo the way it was done 30 years ago is special. The Ricoh KR-10 will accept " K " mount lens, like thoses on a Pentax and is quite a good well built " Japan " body, unlike latter Pentax K1000's built in China. This are just a few fun shots and nothing really special other than my shot of Vern Sollinger who at age 85 is still working in Orchards..
