The town is wide open a caretaker is provided but he is an alcoholic and is never there . I lived just up the road two miles at sidley Lake a privately owned resort that I managed in 1978-80 several residents have most of the land and there is a high school where I shaparoned one time. to tell you about the present residents some are passing through and most have lived there tied to their land for decades. The Teacher at Molson High was a great lady she married a farmer there but before him she ran with a wild Bronk rider who I met in his old age. He still crys because she had to dump him for th esecurity of a farmer.
One day the couple I mention rolled their car and survived after being off the road and crushed for many hours. It is common to loose control on the old "Railroad cut" that is used to short cut to Oroville 13 miles down hill
