Lake Chelan " Lake Shore Trail Hike "

There is a great trail located at the top end of Lake Chelan called " THe Lakeshore Trail " which is 17 miles long from Prince Creek North To Stehekin . Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are just awesome. Best time to hike this in my view is early may. Boat/tourist traffic is still low at this time of year and the dogwoods and other native flowers are on full display!!!. The creeks and streams are running full and few hikers to compete with from camping. This galley is of recent trip from "Moore Point To Stehekin " which is a distance of only 7 miles, but filled with just great views. Good camping at both Moore Point or " Flick Creek " which is but four miles from Stehekin. Take " Lady Of The Lake " and have them drop you anywhere you wish to begin your spring hike,,,, Enjoy!!!
