Nancy was the only gal I knew of to be on the trail and finish the PCT in 1977. Women were really quite rare. She did get a touch of frostbit on her toes and missed some time around the Sierras. What Nancy lacked in trail knowledge , she made up for in heart . Good example that if a person puts their mind to doing something, they can achieve it.
