My beloved Rachael was my first born of six. Rachael died from alcohol poisoning on her 16th birthday, September 3, 1988. My birthday is September 5. On my birthday, I was reading my baby girl Rachael's obituary. Rachael's baby brother Ronnie "Sonny" Thomas, JR. now rests a few feet away from his big sister. Ronnie's life was abruptly taken in cold-blood by the person he loved like a brother, Ben Campbell, who shot and left Ronnie to die January 12, 2005. The FBI has not prosecuted Ben, nor has he shown any remorse. The endless grief on our beautiful Colville Reservation due to alcohol and drugs, and jealousy.
