I ran this route in early 80's. Old bridge tender " Jake" with big white beard would shoot rubber bands at you as one went over at 5 MPH. Recent grant may have this bridge tuning again!!!!!!

Every rail abandonment saddens me. We should be adding rails, not subtracting them.
