One of the greatest things about cruising is the wonderful people you meet and the new friends you make.
We had the distinct pleasure of dining with Mike and Sue during the first formal night.
Since returning home, Sue has shared with us by e-mail that she is a breast cancer survivor.
She and Mike were taking the cruise to celebrate the end of six very difficult months of treatments.
She gave me permission to share their photograph and this information with you.
The great news is there is no evidence of the spread of the cancer anywhere else.
