A few days before moving to the southern California desert,
my neighborhood friends held a going away party for me.
We had about 15-20 teens in my neighborhood and it was quite a change
to move to a place where the nearest person my age was a mile and a half away!

Its hard to imagine that most of the people in this photo are about 50, now.
