Memorial stone adjacent to the Blasias Chapel, honoring the Jews who died in the pogrom of 1298 where some 80,000 to 100,000 Jews were murdered across Frankonia.
The Third Reich was not the first time Jews had been persecuted in that region of modern-day Germany.
This stone was erected in 1998, 700 years after the historical event.
