The viewpoint from the southwest part of the New Town is commanding.
This view is generally towards the west, across the Guadalevin Valley.
At left, on the nearest ridge is the Ermita Rupestre de la Virgen de la Cabeza.
The hermitage dates back to the Ninth Century. Archaeology is somewhat lacking, but it is built into
the side of the rock with caves.
