on the westernmost island, Rock Island, sits Eeragh Lighthouse.
Built in 1857, painted black and white, the light sits 35m above sea level and is now solar powered.
Eeragh Lighthouse is now in the care of an attendant and is also monitored via a telemetry link from Irish Lights Dun Laoghaire.
