From high up on Route N344, on our way to Piódão, we pulled off in order to appreciate the view
looking down into the Rio Alva Valley. The two towns on the hillside are Pai das Donas and
Luada. The town down in the valley is Benfeita and the town off in the distance is Casal de São João.
This route from Dornes to Piódão was very lightly traveled, and very complex to navigate.
