An interesting turret (with nice conical roof inside) on a corner of the castle.
From Wiki, we learn that:
"Ross Castle was built in the late 15th century.
The castle is typical of strongholds of Irish chieftains built during the Middle Ages.
The structure is stacked and mortored stone with thick walls and providing five inner stories plus the roof."
