Clouds over Moline

The summer of 2012 in the Quad Cities was strange in that storms went around us
through all of July. This is one that saturated Moline, IL and areas south of us.

It is amazing how these tall cumulus mumbojumbo clouds can appear to be so close, and yet have such very limited areas where rain actually reaches the ground. I like how the cloud's clear edge splits the frame here.
