In July of 2023, I went to Springfield, Illinois to visit the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum and the Illinois State Museum. The Illinois State Museum had an exhibit called "Growing Up X". It was a display of things GenXers would be familiar with, such as answering machines and really large cell phones. I also visited the 8th Street Historical District where Abraham Lincoln had his home.
