Our Lolo, or Grandfather, started the Talisay Rondalia Band (an ensemble of guitars, mandolin and related instruments, including the 12 string bandurrias). He taught each child how to play their instrument, some learning how to play multiple types. We met this wife's husband while visiting my Lolo's grave... he was in the original 1950s band!
