Beautiful, colorful image that reveals a historic urban locality in a subtle and artistic way. I'm always drawn to stonework, whether in walls or in paving stones. There's so much care and artistry in a medium that is so practical and so durable. You really pulled the story together, and Marisa, the artist and poet, expresses it so well in her metaphor of broken glass.

Actually it’s a very nice photo, Matthias; I fully understand why you like it.
The composition and the reflection match so well the bright colours of the houses like a broken glass on the cobbled pavement.
