Pronghorns 2548

Driving along a country road, I came upon a couple of pronghorns just at the edge of a field.
I stopped as quickly as I could without alarming them, backed up, and realized that there were three more right in the ditch.

Pronghorns are the fastest animals on earth (yes, a cheetah is faster over a short distance, but can't keep up to pronghorns
over long distances), but these weren't in any hurry. I managed to take half a dozen shots, and they even allowed me to switch
to my 600mm lens before they ambled away. By that time, however, all I could get was a bigger image of their slowly retreating behinds.
