The X-Y carriage designed and built along with Dan O'Donnell to photograph and make digital files from old and fragile architectural drawings.
The files can then be accessed by students without having to handle the originals.
Built on our own design using bunk bed frame, mattress support rails and sliding glass door wheels.
The checkerboard sections are photographed at 400 pixels per inch or better and "stitched" together as is done with panoramas.
