Paul Hebert, founder of BOLD, told me that I was in a very good location near the center of the US. I should find vagrants from all directions.
About 4745 of the specimens sent to him at the U. of Guelph, Ontario, Canada have been logged in.
There has been identification of 969 species and the potential for another 193 or so that have distinct DNA but are yet to be identified.

I have found, so far, these species that show regional differences in their DNA sequence. More are expected as additional BOLD data is made public.
The Callopistria floridensis below is a very interesting case showing a wide local variation from Costa Rican specimens and a rare amino acid replacement in one of the local variants.
The Fissicrambus mutabilis information has recently been updated at BOLD to reflect the potential for four species.
It and the others show a bimodal distribution in the DNA divergence measure indicating regional variations or misidentified reference specimens in BOLD.
A 2% DNA divergence is a rough guide that indicates possible separate species might be among the specimens. There are some cases where less divergence exists among species.
One tree includes all BOLD data but no geographic information. The other includes my specimens and BOLD public data which includes geographic information.
As more data becomes public additional geographic information will be obtained. Also, interpretations might change with larger sample size.
