TRF is the other really big Renaissance Faire in Texas. There are also several smaller ones that I have not been to yet. This one has a very different feel from Scarborough, a feel that some people like better and some people don't. But that's the joy of Faires, everyone can have a favorite without any other faire being worse off for it.

Personally, I enjoy going to TRF once in a while to shop and see friends without feeling like I HAVE to be taking photos or I HAVE to be entertaining people. It is a good time, and has its own special beauty.
