There is a dedicated group of paying patrons who love to play. We call these "playtrons". Some of the playtrons belong to the Scarborough Royal Guard, and act as escorts to the Royals and Nobles (foreign and English) of Scarborough Faire. This may seem like nothing, but those of us who benefit from their assistance realize just how hard they work and we appreciate it.

The photos in this gallery are from a 2-day workshop that some of them attended this July. Several performing company members came in to help in the form of instructors. The Guard learned about character development, history/customs/manners, dialect, and all manner of subjects. It was quite fun. :)
