The first day of the final weekend. A three-day weekend, including Memorial Day Monday, and traditionally the hottest weekend of the year. This year didn't disappoint in that regard, with a steamy, sweltering Texas heat that made wearing costuming a trial of endurance. Luckily, the performing company is used to such trials, and did a wonderful job of pacing themselves and keeping themselves thoroughly watered!

The day started with a song, and ended with the engagement of two wonderful people to each other. What more can you ask of a Festival day?
