Every year on the last rehearsal day it is a tradition to hold Costume Parade. This is a chance for all of the performing company members to see everyone's Official Costuming for the season. Up until that point, most folks usually wear rehearsal costuming, which isn't necessarily what they'll wear during performances. It's also a time for a little bit of fun as people ham it up in time with the thoroughly modern and specially chosen soundtrack. After that is the Friends of Faire special event, which includes final rehearsals for things like the Opening Gate show and the other cast-involved shows. (Opening Gate is all improvised based on an opening line and closing line. Those are gotten on the spot by opening two fortune cookies.)

Oh, and I apologize for the less than stellar quality of some of these. I forgot to set my shutter speed for action shots and so there's some blur in a number of them. I pulled out the best that I could from the 1015 shots I originally took, though! :)
