I had cooked a number of chicken breasts to use throughout the week and after eating chicken salad, cold chicken, and any number of other chicken variations, I decided to use the last of them up in a chicken pot pie. Since I enjoy cooking, and I enjoy photography, I decided to take photos of each step just for the fun of it.
BTW, this is a pot pie made using a white sauce for the base rather than a gravy. I do it this way partially because I prefer the richness of the white sauce balanced with the rustic comfort of the chicken, vegetables and topping and partially because I didn't HAVE any gravy as I'd broiled the chicken rather than roasting it.
I would put the recipe down but I don't usually measure, so I have no idea how much of anything I actually used! :)
