We had a pile of braised beef left over from dinner a few nights before, and I wanted to do something different, so I picked up some nice, crusty italian-style rolls and whipped up a marinara to go with it. The sandwiches had the beef, pepperoni, some roasted bell peppers, fresh mozzarella and the marina. I pressed them with another pan on top as they cooked. A simple pasta with the leftover marina went well as a side dish.
