I have been trying to incorporate more seafood and vegetables into my cooking lately in an effort to increase the healthiness of our diet in general. Shado is not thrilled by the vegetable part of it, but the seafood part he can heartily get behind. Tonight's dinner was Shrimp Piccata with Orzo. This was made with onions, lemons, fresh lemon juice, a bit of sauvignon blanc, and peeled shrimp. I didn't include the capers because Shado doesn't like them very much. When I make any kind of piccata for myself, there is usually a TON of capers because I love the briny little things!
