Ship Channel Bridge

Port of Houston

Driveby shot as we were passing over the Port of Houston.
The City of Houston is on the horizon (the whole left side of the photo)
The port is a 25-mile-long complex. It is the busiest port in the U.S. in terms of foreign tonnage,
second-busiest in the U.S. in terms of overall tonnage, and sixteenth-busiest in the world.

I'm sure it generates a good deal of income across the board, also!

You know how to capture a scene even as a drive-by. Busy port.

Well shot and interesting scene. I didn't realize that the port was that big. Your image helps to put things into perspective.
