Local Cuisine

Richmond, TX

Today's Specials.
Even though we are in Texas, home of barbecue and Tex Mex food, we are only 1 hour from Louisiana and less than an hour from the Gulf Coast.
So Seadood and Cajun dishes are very popular.

Think they all could be a bit rich for my taste, Lynn.

Interesting cuisine, though I think there is nothing for me to eat there! V

makes sense to have the seafood on the menu, and the tilapia might be worth a try, and of course one test bite of gator...there is nothing quite like freshly caught pickle either!!
Nick Paoni06-Jan-2019 15:08
Hopefully these come with a side of antacid.
Stephanie06-Jan-2019 13:56
Does the alligator taste like chicken? ;)
Fun capture Lynn!
Raymond06-Jan-2019 12:27
Wow, not my place either! I wouldn't be able to eat there
Dan Greenberg06-Jan-2019 07:06
It looks mostly yummy to me, except for maybe the alligator. I had that before and did not like the texture. ~V~

Love it! The fried alligator sounds interesting! Though like Helen I would starve, like I said Interesting.
Jim Coffman06-Jan-2019 03:57
I am sorry to say there isn't one thing on that menu I would eat...
Helen Betts06-Jan-2019 03:05
Yikes, I would starve there! Although the pickle sounds good ;-). V.
