We had a ton of rain and now all of Houston is on National news. The entire city came to a halt and many homes and businesses were flooded.
I watched the news all day as there was nothing else to do.
I watched people helping each other, saving lives, plucking folks from roof tops and floating children on airbeds and in refrigerators, to safety.
One of the operations unfolding, was the rescue of 70 horses from a barn that was under water.
Amazingly, they saved almost all of them although watching from the sidelines was absolutely harrowing.
