We had 11 inches of rain Monday night. That was on top of the 17 we had since the beginning of May.
There was flooding everywhere around Houston and in Sugar Land. Thankfully our house was not flooded.
Our lot sits 3 and 1/2 feet above the street level and at one point the street was 3 feet deep.
Those who parked on the street got flooded.
This picture is from the park where I work. The flood water inundated our pump house for the Water Park.
There is $100,000 in damage. Our busy Summer season won't be so busy afterall. It will take months to repair the pools.
