Long Lines at the Ferry on a HOT Day =

Galveston Island, TX

Today, we decided to go over to Bolivar and look at "ground zero" for the Hurricane. There was a one hour wait for the ferry, 6 lanes of lines. In the 100+ weather, it's a bit easier for tempers to flare.
I'll be posting some of the post-hurricane shots in my Galveston gallery later on.

Sad to say signs like these are needed these days... courtesy seems to be a thing of the past. Great shot. Jv V!

Great shot - if I read this correctly, if you verbally abuse staff you can still board, but not so with the screeners. BTW are screeners people who wash your windscreen while you wait in the queue?? ;-)
