This is a new park on Lake Riverstone. This pond is "horizonless" giving the appearance that it is part of the lake below.

To answer Keiths question - This little pond is right next to the street along the public sidewalk. When you pause at the pond, it gives the illusion of being on the bank of the lake, because the horizon line has been obscured. If you wanted to go down to the lake, you would go down a couple dozen steps.

Why not connect it to the lake, what's the idea behind it? Fantastic shot btw, love the foreground framing. V
