After a great breakfast at the hotel, we were off early to the airport for our Precision Air flight to Stonetown, Zanzibar. It was supposed to leave at 9:50, but of course, it didn't, TIA - 'This Is Africa'! We flew past Kilimanjaro, seeing it up close and personal was quite the experience. And flying in over Stonetown was incredible - that ocean is so BLUE!
Once in Zanzibar, we were met by Musa, our guide for the next 4 days, and taken to our hotel, the Serena Inn. This inn was everything we had imagined it would be! It was incredible. We spent the rest of the day soaking up the culture and the sun around the hotel; enjoying tarib music and sundowners on the deck over looking the ocean was our highlite.
