Skagway and the Yukon

This was a big day, we were up pretty early, raced through breakfast and were out on the dock to board a bus to the Yukon before we knew it!
David, the driver of the bus was hilarious, he looked 16, said he was 24, but I don't know, I would have argued with that one! But his driving was fine, and we had a fun drive up through 5 climate zones (coastal-temperate rainforest-alpine-tundra and Borealis rainforest) to about 3200 feet. Seemed higher though...
After a customs stop at Fraser, BC, we drove for a bit and crossed over into the Yukon, one of Canada's territories for a BBQ chicken lunch at Caribou Crossing, followed by ice cream at Carcross. Back at Fraser, we boarded the White Pass Yukon Rail and took an incredible 2 hour, very scenic train ride back down to Skagkway.

The owner of the trading post is a taxidermist, he has set up displays there (he did not shoot any of these animals though)
