Puerto Vallarta, Mexico May 5, 2012

It's Cinco de Maya today & here we are in beautiful Puerto Vallarta! Neither Jim nor I had been here before, and we were both pleasantly surprised as we didn't expect we would like it. But we did! Today was a fun day - Bryan & Linda, Jim and I all went on a ship's shore excursion today - a 'Cooking Class' along with a sightseeing excursion along the Malecon & into the church nearby. It was so much fun! After the excursion, we joined in the ship's celebration on the Lido Deck where they were serving supper and having a "Mexican Fiesta'. The city threw in the fireworks just before we left, while nature threw in the full harvest moon as we were leaving.
