New Orleans & Mexico 2004

A Christmas cruise! Or, well, an 'almost' Christmas cruise, Jim and I flew to New Orleans a day early for a Dec 10th cruise to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico and Grand Caymans, ending up back in New Orleans on Dec 17th. We didn't disembark though, we just went to pick up the kids at the airport - Jamie, Kristen, Andrew, Steve O and his friend, Michelle. Also joining us were Crystal (co-worker from Neto) and her mom and dad. It was the exact same cruise we had just come off - but you know, just in case we didn't get it right the first time! The second cruise was amazing because we had our grown kids there - but - because it was the week before Christmas the cruise actually had more little kids on it than adults! That was a challenge! 2500 people and apparently 1300 of them were below the age of 18. Whew. We disembarked on Christmas Eve, and spent a cold, snowy day exploring the French Quarter in New Orleans before it was time to go to the airport for the flights home.
