Nairobi June 10, 2006

Sadly, this would be our last day with the group. We drove to Nanyuki, flew to Wilson airport and then had a great going-away lunch at the Carnivore restaurant. It was delicious, and such a fun place to be! In the afternoon, others relaxed in their day room, or went shopping, while Jim and I went with one of the Micato drivers to the orphange that Micato supports in the Mukuru slums. What an experience that was to see this first hand. Supper was a bittersweet affair, as it would be our last together as a group, most people were going home tonight, while three of us were going on to Zanzibar the next day.
