May 31, 2013 The Serengeti

This morning we sent the others out in search of the migration while Jim and I relaxed at the camp - sometimes we just have to do that! After a nice lunch with everyone, we went out on the afternoon game run to search for animals in some of the areas around the camp. We saw lots, and on the way back Clamian stopped at a kopje and asked up to look up. Thinking we had just found a lion we looked up and there were a couple of cooks and the manager from the camp on the kopje grinning at us! We climbed up for some wonderful appetizers and sundowners as we watched the sun go down - a fabulous experience!
