Anchorage to Denali

This was to be one of our famous 'pole pole' days (Swahili for 'slowly slowly'). We were up early enough, but just couldn't seem to get going, we left the campground at noon, and made our way to Costco to do a shop for groceries for the next week. And that of course took a while, including a stop at Safeway. We started out to Denali about 3:30, made it to Wasilla visitors center where we stopped for a very late 'lunch' in the RV. Back on the road again, we could see Mt. McKinley at one point in the distance, and should have stopped to get a picture as it was fairly clear, but no, we weren't that smart. Not much of it was visible at the look out point when we finally did stop.
We arrived at The Riley Creek Campground in Denali Park around 9 pm - I think the land of the midnight sun has made our clocks all wacky!
