Another exciting day in Lima with Vanessa and Raul! Today we went back out to Barranco and walked around this quaint area. We drove up into the hills (the Morros) to see the statue in Chorillas that commemorates the soldiers that died in the war with Chile. After that we explored Miraflores, the cobblestone roads and Love's park, followed by a stop at Northern Peru's local office where Lisa and Hal work. They took us for lunch (ceviche of course, we couldn't get enough of that)and then set off to explore the Mercado Indios (Indian Market) - so vibrant and exciting!
After buying out half the items in the market, we visited Kennedy Square and Central Park before going back to our hotel.
