Vancouver to Lima Mar 21, 2008

We left Vancouver early in the morning on Easter Friday, March 21, 2008 flying business class to Los Angeles. With only a short time in LA, we had just enough time for me to catch my breath, and for Jim to catch a smoke before we met the others in the 1st class lounge. Our LAN flight left at 12:45, right on time - and what COMFORTABLE seats we had - we had the lie flat seats - so much room & so comfy we couldn't resist taking a nap. Arriving quite late at night after flying all day, Ross welcomed us to Lima with a real short speech ('hey, welcome to Lima!') before we pretty well just passed out in our beds at the Country Club Hotel in San Isidro. We met the next morning for breakfast at the hotel before going to the airport to catch our flight to Cusco.
