This would prove to be a very long day! Deb, Don and Mike left yesterday in the afternoon as their flight was going out a day earlier than ours.
We had an early breakfast, as lunch would be early today. Mussa picked us up at 1:15 and off we went to his place to see the boys and Rahema. Rahema's mom had made all kinds of appies for us, oh my and we were so full from lunch still!
After our visit Mussa drove us to the airport, the flight was on time (even early) today which was good. After arriving in Nairobi and meeting up with Daniel for supper at the Simba Restaurant, we repacked (what a challenge that was!) and then set out to the first class lounge for our flight. After boarding the Emirates flight, we settled into our wonderfully comfortable seats and left on time at 10:40. They tired to feed us a full supper, but we just didn't have room - we slept all the way to Dubai waking up in time for breakfast.
