The next two days were leisurely days at sea. And if there is one thing Jim and I know how to do, its leisure. The first day it was still warm enough to have breakfast on the deck, but not the second day. Dinner was a formal on the first evening, and it was probably one of the best we have ever had on board - the picture speaks for itself.
We started to get into fairly rough seas on the second day; the force 8 winds were strong enough that the Captain closed the outside decks. What we didn't know was that we hadn't seen the worst yet!
