Today Marcelo came for us at 10:00 as we had plenty to explore! We cabbed it to La Boca and spent the rest of the morning exploring the very vibrant & colourful nooks & crannies of the area. Picture Fodder to be sure! After lunch at Madero Este in Puerto Madero, we walked over the bridge and caught a cab to Recoleta for dessert at Volta Ice Cream. Yummm! We were going to go in to visit Evita's tomb in the cemetery next, but they had just closed it down to spray for Dengue Fever. No problem though, Marcello said, we could taxi back here in the morning before boarding the ship. He sat us down, drew us a map and told us a few stories about the graves there so we could explore on our own. After a short stop at the Falkland (Malvina) War Memorial, we returned back to the B & B, rested a bit and then ventured out by cab to Astrid y Gaston Restaurant for our 11:00 PM reservations for a huge steak dinner – another high recommend!
