Paperbarks (Melaleuca) of various kinds grow in wet areas of Australia. They grow quite thickly in some of the swamps and are very hard to navigate through. I worked in them when I was in mineral exploration and had to take compass bearings every 10 meters or less in some places. I might add that there is no regret in not working in them anymore, they are rather difficult.
