We went for a bush walk the other weekend, down near the southern highlands, south of Sydney. Its fairly typical of the creeks and rivers running through the sandstone country. The pool is called Mermaids Pool and is quite large. I noticed the red (iron) staining when I was looking at the image, I didn't see it on the day, from somethig man made I would reckon.
